ZuriHac2016/BBQ
Continuing a great tradition, we are going to have a BBQ at the lake on Saturday 23th of July. The weather is forecast to be a bit cloudy, but without any rain, yay! It should work out, but please don't blame us for a bit of rain, if the Swiss weather god plays dirty ;-).
As in the last year, we use the public BBQ facilities in Wollishofen. Participants are responsible for buying drinks and food themselves. Cutlery is also available in the supermarkets. Just ask the cashier. You can get food at
- Coop Manesseplatz (larger selection, but a longer walk. Ideally, you go there before the talks)
- Coop Pronto Enge (conveniently located at Enge, smallish selection, but with beer ;-) )
- Migros Enge (conveniently located at Enge, smallish selection, beware: no alcohol),
- BP gas station (near the BBQ place),
- Avia gas station (near the BBQ place).
The idea for the schedule is that you leave Google at 19:00 after the talk, buy your drinks and food, and either take a leisurely stroll along the lake or use public transportation (just buy a day pass for zone 110 and you are golden for the next 24 hours of public transportation).
