Operatia de citire:

citeste <ident>

unde ident este identificatorul variabilei si nu trebuie declarat. A trebuit implementata si o citire pentru elementele unui vector.

Ex: citeste <vect>[<exp>] unde <vect> e numele vectorului iar <exp> e numele expresiei

Vechile versiuni Rodin (< v05)foloseau "tasteaza" nu "citeste".
