John Peterson
John Peterson (died March 2017) was a computer science researcher, instructor, and professor. He co-authored the Haskell Report and was active in the Haskell community, including helping to maintaining haskell.org.
Peterson was on the research faculty at Yale University from 1990 to 2004.
From 2005 until his death, Peterson was a professor at Western State College (http://www.western.edu), high in the Colorado mountains.
He had also taught at the University of Arizona and Central Connecticut State University.
