(Haskell - G-code compliers / simulators)
(No difference)

Revision as of 07:07, 15 October 2012

Greetings:

I played around with Haskell in 2000-2001 with a network engineer colleague, and became somewhat proficient with elementary aspects, while working for Boeing as an airline flight instructor, using $40 million airline simulators.

Now a decade later, I am operating CNC Mills to produce precision aerospace parts, and would like to see a development group established to write Haskell code for these computerized machines which currently use G-code. Perhaps standards should be set by a steering group to enable a Haskell-to-G-code compiler or interpreter.

Any ideas??? This could really become a world-wide effort, and revolutionize the computerized machine industry!!! I hope this blurb catches everyone's interest.

Haskell is the absolute best language to do this. Let's do it!
